FAQ

Q. When can I start using the Serena Sling® Baby Carrier for my newborn?

You can start using it right after bringing your baby home from the hospital. It is suitable for babies weighing from 7.9lbs to 44lbs For the first 30 days, it is recommended to use the newborn holding method.

Q. Is there a recommended usage time?

The recommended usage time can vary depending on your baby’s growth and temperament.
Always check your baby’s condition and adjust accordingly. After feeding, loosen the size controller slightly for comfort.

For continuous use, limit it to under 2 hours.

When carrying your baby facing forward, limit it to under 30 minutes to protect their hips.

Change your baby’s position if they seem uncomfortable, and lay them down to sleep when they fall deeply asleep.

Q. When can I start carrying my baby facing outward?

Generally, between 30-50 days, but it depends on your baby’s development. If your baby starts stretching their legs in the carrier, you can try carrying them facing outward. However, maintaining the M position for healthy hip development is more important than the direction your baby is facing.

Q. Can both mom and dad use the Serena Sling® Baby Carrier?

Yes, the adjustable Serena Sling® Baby Carrier Flex can be used by both mom and dad.

Q. The carrier keeps tilting to one side.

This might happen if the back panel isn’t centered or if the shoulder fabric isn’t evenly spread. Ensure the back panel is centered on your back and the shoulder fabric is spread widely like a shawl. Also, balance the fabric evenly around your baby’s hips and thighs. It may seem challenging at first, but you’ll get used to it quickly with practice.

Q. Will I need a larger size as my baby grows?

No, thanks to the stretchy fabric, the carrier adjusts to your baby’s growth. It’s best to purchase a snug fit initially to ensure it remains secure as your baby gets heavier.
